A Roma il 3 maggio, durante una retata, la polizia municipale ha ucciso il lavoratore ambulante senegalese Maguette Niang. Negli ultimi giorni c’è stata un’escalation di pesanti interventi polizieschi in tutta Italia, da Napoli a Milano, da Foggia a Roma. Rastrellamenti etnici nelle stazioni di diverse città, con persone fermate e portate nelle questure in attesa di essere recluse nei CIE/CPR e deportate nei loro paesi di origine. A Napoli mille abitanti del campo rom di Gianturco sgomberati e dispersi dalla polizia municipale: tra loro 160 persone sono state segregate in un ghetto recintato e controllato dalla polizia e assediato da fascist* che già in passato avevano attaccato i Rom a Ponticelli.
Anche a Salerno l’amministrazione comunale, con l’appoggio delle opposizioni, prosegue indisturbata la repressione sul lungomare cittadino e il tentativo di allontanamento dal centro della città di tutt* le/i lavoratrici/lavoratori ambulanti, nativ* e immigrat*, all’insegna dell’ideologia del “decoro” e del rispetto della legalità, applicato solo contro le fasce sociali rese sempre più povere.
Questa situazione, che va avanti da anni, con una forte repressione attuata sia dal governo che dalle giunte locali di qualsiasi colore politico, si è aggravata in seguito alla promulgazione della legge Orlando-Minniti, che prevede un restringimento globale della presenza delle/dei migrant* sul suolo italiano, eliminando il ricorso in appello in caso di respingimento della richiesta della domanda di asilo e di fatto consegnando all’arbitrio delle retate poliziesche chiunque non sia in possesso del permesso di soggiorno e del tanto agognato status di rifugiat* politic*.
Siamo contro la criminalizzazione di chi, non avendo alternative praticabili, lavora nelle strade come ambulante. Non accettiamo che un problema sociale diventi una questione di ordine pubblico. Ci opponiamo a sgomberi, rastrellamenti e sequestri delle merci. Siamo contro retate, CIE/CPR, deportazioni. Non facciamo distinzioni tra autocton* e stranier*, tra chi ha un permesso di soggiorno e chi è considerato irregolare, tra chi ha licenza di ambulante e chi no, tra chi vende merci definite contraffatte e chi no. Siamo contro la pianificazione di quartieri vetrina per persone benestanti e turist*, e quartieri ghetto per emarginat* e lavoratrici/lavoratori. Contrastiamo chiunque, a partire dai politicanti (vecchi e nuovi), cavalca il razzismo, la xenofobia e il classismo, e invoca repressione contro ampie fasce di popolazione in difficoltà economica (senzatetto, rom, migranti, precar*, disoccupat*, ambulanti, sex workers, etc.).
L’unica scelta di campo che ci sentiamo di fare è con chi è disposto a lottare per “tutto per tutt*” e siamo contro chi invece vuole continuare a vivere il proprio privilegio e benessere basato sullo sfruttamento e l’emarginazione di tant* altr*.

Stop rafles, enlèvements et évacuations!
À Rome le 3 mai, pendant une rafle, la police municipale a tué le travailleur itinérant sénégalais Maguette Niang. Ces derniers jours il a y eu une escalade de lourdes interventions policières dans toute l’Italie, de Napoli à Milano, de Foggia à Roma. Ratissages ethniques dans les gares de différentes villes, avec des personnes appréhendées et emmenées vers les préfectures de police dans l’attente d’être emprisonnées dans les CIE/CPR et déportées vers leurs pays d’origine. À Napoli, 1000 habitants du camp de Roms de Gianturco évacués et dispersés par la police municipale; entre eux, 160 personnes ont été ségréguées dans un ghetto clôturé et surveillé par la police et assiégé par les fascistes qui, déjà dans le passé, avaient attaché les Roms à Ponticelli.
Même à Salerne, la municipalité avec le soutien des oppositions, se poursuit sans relâche la répression sur la promenade de la ville et la tentative d’éloignement du centre de la ville de tous les travailleurs / travailleuses itinérants, natifs/ves et immigré(e)s, sous le signe de l’idéologie du “décorum” et du respect de la légalité, appliquée juste contre les groupes sociaux rendus pauvres de plus en plus.
Cette situation, qui dure depuis des années, avec une forte répression mise en oeuvre soit par le gouvernement que les conseils locaux, n’importe quelle couleur politique, s’est aggravée à la suite de la promulgation de la loi Orlando-Minniti, qui prévoit un rétrécissement global de la présence des migrant(e)s sur le sol italien, en éliminant le recours en appel en cas de rejet de la demande d’asile et, en fait, en remettant à l’arbitraire des rafles policières quiconque ne soit pas en possession d’un permis de séjour et du convoité statut de réfugié(e) politique.
Nous sommes contre la criminalisation de ceux qui, en n’ayant pas alternatives praticables, travaillent dans les rues comme ambulants. Nous n’acceptons pas qu’un problème social devienne un problème d’ordre public. Nous nous opposons à évacuations, ratissages et saisies de marchandises. Nous sommes contre rafles, CIE/CPR, déportations. Nous ne faisons aucune distinction entre indigènes et étranger(e)s, entre ceux qui ont un permis de séjour et ceux qui sont considéré(e)s irrégulier(e)s, entre ceux qui ont le permis de commerce ambulant et qui non, entre ceux qui vendent marchandises définies contrefaites et qui non. Nous sommes contre l’aménagement de quartiers vitrine pour gens aisés et touristes, et quartiers ghetto pour exclu(e)s et travailleuses/travailleurs. Nous luttons contre quiconque, à partir de les politiciens vieux et nouveaux, chevauche le racisme, la xénophobie et le classisme, et réclame la répression contre larges catégories de population en difficulté économique (sans-abri, Roms, migrants, précaires, chômeur(e)s, ambulants, travailleuses du sexe, etc.).
Le seul choix de champ que nous pouvons faire il est avec ceux qui sont disposés à lutter pour “tout pour tous” et nous sommes contre ceux qui veulent par contre continuer à vivre leur propre privilège et bien-être fondé sur l’exploitation et la marginalisation de beaucoup d’autres.

Stop raids, seizures, evictions
In Rome on 3 May, during a shootout, the municipal police has killed senegalese worker Maguette Niang.
In the last few days there has been an escalation of heavy interventions by police across Italy, from Naples to Milan, from Foggia to Rome. Ethnic cleasing in stations of different cities, with people taken to the police headquarters waiting to be detained in CIE/CPR and deported to their countries of origin. This situation, which has been going on for years, with a strong repression carried out in both the government and by local councils of any political color, has worsened following the promulgation of the law Orlando-Minniti, which foresees a general narrowing of the presence of migrants on Italian soil, eliminating the appeal in case of rejection of the request of the asylum claim and, in fact, delivering to the arbitration/agency of police raids anyone who does not possess the residence permit and the coveted status of a political refugee.
We are against the crimination of those who, having no viable alternatives, work in the streets as a walker.
We do not accept that a social problem becomes a matter of public order, a manhunt carried out by the various forces of order. We oppose any evictions, roundups and seizures of goods. We are against the roundups, CIE/CPR, deportations. We do not distinguish between natives and foreigners, between those who have a residence permit and who is considered to be irregular, between those who have a pedestrian license and who does not, between who sells goods as defined counterfeit and who is not. We are against the planning of showcase neighborhoods for wealthy and tourists, and ghetto for marginalized and workers. We oppose to anyone, starting with old and new politicians, rides on racism, xenophobia and classism, and invokes the repression of large segments of people in economic difficulty (homeless, Roma, migrants, precarious, unemployed, ambulant, sex workers, etc .).
The only choice we make is with those who are willing to fight for “everything for everyone” against those who want to continue to live their own privileges and economic wellbeing based on the exploitation and marginalization of so many others.
